Sam Bradford who was born on November 8, 1987. He plays QB for the St. Louis Rams and has been in the NFL since 2010. He was voted St. Louis Rams Rookie of the Year and the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Facts #1:


Sam Bradford was the second sophomore in college history to win the Heisman trophy at the University of Oklahoma. He was then selected 1st in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft.



Facts #2:


Holds two NFL records: one for most consecutive passes without an interception by a rookie and one for most completions by a rookie QB.



Facts #3:


Sam Bradford was the first #1 pick out of the University of Oklahoma since Billy Sims was drafted in the 1980 NFL draft.

St. Louis signed Sam Bradford to a 6 year $78 million dollar contract that had $50 million guarantee in July of 2010. It was the catalyst for the revision to the NFL collective bargaining agreement concerning rookie contracts. His contract is also the most expensive contract given to a rookie and most likely that record will never be broken because of the CBA change.

In his rookie season, Bradford in his first 8 games tied an NFL record for throwing 11 TDs in that span. The record was held by Dan Marino, Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. That October he was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

In November of 2010, Bradford became the first rookie QB awarded two consecutive Offensive Rookie of the Month awards. It was in this month that he also became the first rookie QB to pass for more than 300 yards and 3 TDs and having no interceptions.

Sam Bradford is 1/16th Cherokee Indian and is the first native American to win the Heisman trophy and the first one since 1970 to start as QB in a Division 1 school.

San Bradford claims to be a scratch golfer, an all-star high school basketball player and an avid hockey fan. He says his favorite hockey team is the Vancouver Canucks.

Bradford has only topped the NFL passer rating of 90, eleven out of 45 times and has only in three plus years posted an above passer rating of 90 twice in consecutive games. Not exactly killing it since being drafted first in the 2010 NFL draft and getting $50 million to do it.
