Bill Belichick who was born on April 16, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the Head Coach for the New England Patriots and has been coaching in the NFL since 1975.

Bill Belichick's father was the assistant football coach at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Bill went to Annapolis High School where he played football and his favorite game, lacrosse.

Bill Belichick wen to Wesleyan College in Connecticut where he played Center and Tight End for the football team as well as played for the lacrosse and squash teams. Bill was Captain of the lacrosse team in his senior year. Bill graduated Wesleyan with a degree in economics in 1975.

Bill Belichick is a member of the Wesleyan University Athletic Hall of Fame since being inducted in 1988.

Bill Belichick spent 10 years in minor coaching positions in the NFL with the Baltimore Colts, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, New York Giants before landing he defensive coordinator job with the Giants in 1985.

Bill Belichick answered all the critics that year by coaching the Patriots to one of the few unbeaten seasons in NFL history finishing 16-0 in the 2007 season.
